DARPA, or Developing Artists' Repository and Production Annex, is an experimental art endeavor carried out through ILY2's rotating artist space, ILY2 Too, inside the Lloyd Center Mall in the heart of Portland, OR. Organized through the efforts of Beck Alfaro along with the energized nebula of creatives working through similar aesthetic concerns, DARPA works are collaborative and feed into each other–inextricably linked through feeling, fabrication, and ideas. In a broader sense, DARPA seeks to explore the transfer of influence and the ways in which artists across media activate different instances of each other.
